The location was great - easy walk to the busy area of town. The staff were helpful- booked a taxi for us - expect to pay around €19. There is a bus that goes from bus station- number 16 - which will probably only take about 20 minutes and is around €3 euros but doesn’t start running until 5am. Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. Would say there are many many cheap cafes and restaurants within easy walking distances (including the food market- stall upstairs, supermarket downstairs, and cafes all around the outside) All the Portuguese people we spoke to were extremely helpful and had very good English. The rooms are simple and have air conditioning and kettle and fridge (although it didn’t keep things very cold tbh). We did a boat ride - they are very easy to book on the front- many people touting for your custom just need to choose the right one for you. We also went on the little train around the city. you can use it to hop on :off during the day. it was only £6 euros but was expecting commentary about the city and there was nothing - also it’s incredibly bumpy. We took a number 16 bus to the beach (via the airport) you can do a lovely walk up amongst the Ria Formosa and see many birds including flamingos and also walk across to the beach - buses are regular but big gap to the next one so make sure you are at the stop in plenty of time!

The Hotel is good clean, everything was perfect but I was trying to booking for 9th of September and it was calendar mistake booked for 9 th October, and in 5 minute after booking I call to the Hotel to asked what to do they suggested that cancel and book for 9 th September no worries and when I come to Hotels I pay for September and already took money for oct what I cancel 5 minute after the booking and staff say they can’t do anything Booking.com is the responsibility, I’m sad because I could talk about that before cancel if they not suggest me for cancel and book again hope I will get money back if not money goes by my card 2 time for one night 😒☹️☹️☹️☹️

nice little hotel, close to the train station and city centre. enough for a couple of nights. it was clean, comfortable and quiet. staff were super nice and helpful and lovely to speak to. breakfast was fairly good. eggs were not nice and well over cooked but there was enough of other options available and we had a good choice from cereal to bread and cheeses, meets and veg. plus sweet stuff and fresh fruit. a selection of juices plus coffee and tea. the hotel also had soya milk for me but best to check with them as not sure this is a standard option. overall we had a pretty good stay and would recommend it :)

Wasn't expecting much from the hotel or Faro as we booked it due to its location before our early morning flight out of Portugal but Faro is well worth a visit. Staff were very nice to deal with. Receptionist gave us alot of information about the rea. Hotel is in a great location where one can wander into the town and marina. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Had tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.

Checking in was smooth and simple. Breakfast was gorgeous. Location was perfect for everything within 15 minutes. I felt safe. The cleaners, catering staff snd receptionists were all friendly, very helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed the hot showers. The manager was not too busy to be available to talk about the artwork in the hotel foyer. The kettle boiled water super fast! Tourist attraction brochure stand at reception was very helpful. I had more than enough towels.
